YMCA Youth Programs foster positive relationships and nurture development. Access art, cheerleading, gymnastics, dance, and more at the Y. Offerings vary based on branch and season, so be sure to check the schedule to see our current and upcoming classes.
Arts & Crafts-Mansfield Branch
This 5-week class will give kids quality opportunities to work with experienced art instructors and students. The club will focus on working on a variety of projects, such as finger paints, play dough, crafts, and more! Ages 5-11

International Kids Club-Mansfield Branch
Children ages 5-12 will come together for 5 weeks to learn about different countries around the world.
They will learn about geography, different languages, fun facts, and even try international cuisines!

Ocean Club-Shelby Branch
An exciting and educational 5-week program for Grades 4th-8th to learn about the ocean. Each week will have a fun experiment in which each child will participate and learn something new.

Dance
Dance classes at the Y are a wonderful experience for kids. They include ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, contemporary, creative movement, and our Chance to Dance classes for those with special needs.

Zumbini-Mansfield Branch
Zumbini is a unique, effective, and fun early childhood education program that uses the power of music and movement to promote cognitive, social, emotional, and motor skill development, all while promoting a strong bond between caregiver and child. Ages 0-4 and their caregiver. 10-week Class.

Gymnastics is a complex competition involving the performance of exercises requiring physical strength, flexibility, power, agility, coordination, grace, and control. The YMCA of North Central Ohio gymnastics and tumbling programs embrace the Y's mission by creating a safe, nurturing environment for kids to become strong, confident gymnasts.

Sneaky Ninja-Mansfield Branch
Inspired by gymnastics, martial arts, obstacle training, and freestyle movement. Ninjas will JUMP, CLIMB, SWING, and ROLL through obstacles. Children will advance and learn at their own pace.

Cheerleading
Cheerleading will build self-confidence and self-esteem while developing social skills and healthy children. At the Y, we are devoted to strengthening our youth's spirit, mind, and body.

Martial Arts Program-Mansfield Branch
Martial arts contributes to increased physical strength, flexibility, balance, control, discipline, and spirituality. Students train with others at their own skill level, progressing from basic stances, punches, blocks, and kicks to the study of more advanced patterns of movement and defense objectives. This program will overlay traditional karate with a combative system of kickboxing.
The school is open to the whole family, including adults. Classes are offered year-round at a monthly rate.
